About DoodleBeak

What is a "DoodleBeak?"

We're asked this question a lot!  Its kind of silly really.  Our devoted Wheaten Terrier, Kaicee is a happy eight year old dog who loves to get up close and personal.  When she was just a pup, she was given the nickname of "Doodles" because she loved sniffing and doodling all over the yard.  Some time later, she was being her usual self trying to give kisses in good old sloppy tongue fashion and of course, she had that beloved doggie breath that all dog owners know so well. After several kisses she was told to get her smelly "beak" out of our face.  It was at that time, that "Doodles" and "beak" became "Doodle Beak."  It was this silly nickname and our love for her and all furry friends that inspired "DoodleBeak.com and our Mission to advocate, encourage and celebrate pet adoption."

Having rescued animals, fostered rescue pets, adopted rescues, and volunteering at a local animal shelter, we have seen first hand the "epidemic" of stray and forgotten animals. This site is intended as a source of animal rescue support and to promote awareness of the need to Stop over-population of dogs and cats by means of spaying and neutering.

DoodleBeak is a small family owned and operated business located in North Olmsted, Ohio, and is made up of humans whose lives have been filled with joy from many devoted pets. In fact, DoodleBeak is not only our brand name and mascot, but she is our devoted Wheaten Terrier.  Our family has rescued several stray animals over the years, have had the pleasure of fostering a litter of kittens (of which we adopted one), and volunteering for Berea Animal Rescue Fund.

Here are our two babies!
